The Church School did a unit on Literacy. On Sunday, May 31, the topic was Gutenberg and how the printing press impacted the ability to share a message. The craft component of this lesson involved making small one-use "block prints" using a sheet of thin styrofoam, a simple stylus and colorful ink. Each original work was supposed to illustrate "What Church Means." The children made theirs during Sunday School but during coffee hour the bigger people got to share in the fun.
