Rev. Dianne Arakawa, Interim Pastor of East Congregational Church
Rev. Dianne Arakawa was called to serve as Interim Pastor at East Church in February 2006. More recently she served in interim positions in Massachusetts in Somerset, Belmont and Westford. Currently she is a member of the Transitional Ministry Committee of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ. Earlier in her ministry she served in settled positions in New York City and outside of Chicago, and on numerous denominational committees and community organizations. She holds degrees from the University of Chicago Divinity School, Harvard Divinity School, and Wheaton College in MA.
Rev. Janet Dorman was Pastor at East Church from 1996 - 2006. Distillations of several of her thought-filled sermons may be read on our web site. They are what Rev. Dorman called “Sermon Nuggets”.
