Childeren’s Sunday and Church Picnic
Sunday, June 8
Everyone is welcome to our annual Church Picnic on our church lawn, following Children's Sunday worship service on Sunday, June 8th. This will be a time for celebration and fellowship. There will also be a musician plus a bouncy for the kids.
The church will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, rolls, drinks, a cake, paper goods and utensils. You may contribute to cover costs in the collection basket on the main table. Others who live nearby will provide the use of their grills.
If possible, please contribute a salad or dessert. (Perishables may be left before worship in the church refrigerators.) Also, bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
You may park behind the church and across the street as usual. However, after 9:45 am the Granite Place entrance to our parking lot behind our church will be closed. (You may leave with your car at any time via the Adams Street exit.) This will allow volunteers and others to set up a few tables near the asphalt as well as the bouncy on the grass.
If you would like to help set up tables, please be present in Fellowship Hall at 9:45. Afterwards, we will need volunteers to clean up, return the tables and chairs, and secure the building.
