UCC Responses to Earthquake in Haiti
The East Church Office received a communication from the MACUCC Offices, appealing for contributions to support the disaster relief efforts in Haiti.
Financial Contributions:
100% of all donations will be used to directly help the disaster victims. We are able to do this because of Our Church's Wider Mission Basic Support.
Make the check out to MACUCC and mark in the memo portion "OGHS - Haitian Relief". Mail your check to the Conference office:

Lenten Book Study
To enhance our Lenten experience, Rev.s Eric and Sara invite all to participate in a book study group. We will read and discuss The Year of Living Biblically: One Man’s Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible, by A. J. Jacobs.
Meetings will be held at 11:15 a.m. on February 28th and March 14th and 21st.
The book is available online at Amazon.com ($10.20 plus shipping). In addition, a supply of the books will be on hold at the Borders in Braintree ($15) for the book study group. Check with the cashier at the front of the store to get a copy.
Champagne Brunch
Sunday, April 25
Come join us for brunch and music at Lynn Salmonsen's house in Houghs Neck. Enjoy a delicious meal served with champagne and mimosas and an afternoon concert by Laura McLean, soprano, Scott Woolweaver, viola and Lynn Salmonsen, piano. Folksongs, solos and duets accompanied by decadent desserts and coffee.
Tickets are $25.00 and are available at coffee hour.
Proceeds to benefit the East Church music program.
