i.ucc offers a very contempory, web-centric presence of the United Church of Christ on line. i.UCC offers content utilizing current web technologies such as blogs, Twitter, devotionals sent to subscribers and much more. Some starting-off points I can recommend include:
Stretch Your Mind
Feed Your Spirit
Weekly Seeds: An in-depth reflection on next Sunday’s Bible reading
subscribe to their daily devotional
And if you wish - follow the daily devotional on Twitter!

“SAMUEL” [Scripture and Mission: A United Church of Christ Electronic Library]
- the Codex Sinaiticus project. “Codex Sinaiticus is one of the most important books in the world. Handwritten well over 1600 years ago, the manuscript contains the Christian Bible in Greek, including the oldest complete copy of the New Testament.” (text from the project’s web site). The research and conservation project is an exhaustive documentation of the manuscript (portions of which currently reside in four different countries!) to provide researchers with the next best thing to the Codex itself. NPR, reporting on the project, wrote that the “Codex Sinaiticus Web site is a veritable treasure trove for researchers and others. The site grants access not only to images of the pages, but also to the new transcription of the text, which allows scholars to search for word patterns, among other uses. The digitized version offers breathtaking detail of the codex, which is written by hand in Greek on animal skin.”

- Ask The Question - A United Church of Christ web site which seeks to provide answers to questions such as “What am I going to do with my life? How can I make a difference? For what purpose was I created? Am I called to be a minister in the United Church of Christ?” (Warning: it plays music when the home page loads. Nice music to be sure but maybe not what you expect if you visit while at work!)
