East Church Participates Actively in Community Service
“…and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God?”

“…I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was naked and you clothed me… as you did it to the least of my children, you did it to me; ”

The scriptures are clear in their command for the people of God to care for those in need and to work for social justice for all people. East Church incorporated this biblical imperative into our Vision Statement, saying that newness of life is found in “…building and serving community“.
